Hangin’ Out At Our Summer Camps

Our summer camps are back! Keep those brain cells fired up through the summer by joining our children’s camp. We will venture beyond our local community and investigate the ties that bind us together that have created our distinct history. Each day is filled with new energetic themes including dinosaurs, toys, trains and a trip around the world. come to the museum for crafts and games that will make you think local and dream big!

Dinomania

We’ll roar, we’ll hunt, and stomp like the dinosaurs at the Wetaskiwin & District Heritage Museum. Learn about the dinosaurs that soared, crawled and chomped their way into history. Join us, because this camp is sure to have a lot of bite!

All Burnt Up: Fire and Rescue in Wetaskiwin

Things will heat up at the Wetaskiwin & District Heritage Museum’s camp. Learn about how our city rose from the ashes and is now protected by our heroic volunteer fire fighters. Get some tips on fire safety and prepare for an inferno of fun at our museum camp!

Boogie Woogie Choo Choo Trains

Track our historic trains at the Wetaskiwin & District Heritage Museum. Become a conductor for a day and follow the historic rails of Wetaskiwin. From the steam engine to the Light Rail Transit, we’ve got a seat saved for you!

Come Together: Multiculturalism in the City

The Wetaskiwin & District Heritage Museum will be taking a voyage around the world. Tour with us and get a glimpse into the lives of our city’s founding families that hail from countries far and wide. Listen, learn and share our community’s dynamic cultural roots at our museum camp.

We’re Diggin’ It: Archeology in Wetaskiwin

Uncover our past at the Wetaskiwin & District Heritage Museum camp.  The sands of time will shift to unveil the pillars of archeological history throughout our community. Feel like Indiana Jones as you dig up the gems of our shared past.

Wetaskiwin’s Believe It Or Not: The Oddities of Our City

The Wetaskiwin & District Heritage Museum will be disclosing the city’s best kept secrets. You will be shocked, awed and amazed at the treasures unveiled at this summer camp. History is always full of surprises here at the museum.

Each day is tailored for children ages 5-12 and take place 10:00 am-4:00 pm. It is $15.00 per camp for each child and a discount fee of $60.00 for signing-up for all 5 days. Please contact us by phone or email for registration.
