Drop in Knitting with the Spinning Knitwits – Wednesdays, 1-3 pm, free, bring your own materials. Do you want to learn to knit, need help with your current project, or would you simply like to knit with some great company? Come over and join knitters of all ages and experience levels for awesome weekly afternoon knitting. Show, tell, and share ideas / projects to inspire and be inspired. Led by Margaret Sjostrom of Celeigh Wool.

Conversations in Wetaskiwin - Last Thursday of every month, 7:00 pm, free, drop in. Every one is welcome to join in an exchange of ideas through Conversations in Wetaskiwin this winter. In the Classic spirit of social gatherings for discussion, come and gather to be inspired, discuss, amuse, and perhaps increase knowledge through conversation. The evening will be hosted and themed. Themes may be preservation of history, genetic modifications, street art, agriculture, community growth, medicine, and more.

Canada’s Agriculture Day - Brought to you by Parkland Fertilizers and the Heritage Museum

The Wetaskiwin & District Heritage Museum and Parkland Fertilizers are excited to be partnering with Agriculture More Than Ever‘s national movement to help launch the first annual Canada’s Agriculture Day on February 16, 2017. Help us sing the praises of the heritage and innovation of this time-honoured industry that continues to keep our community strong.
