Grade 6

Grade 6 is a time for independent exploration and discovery, which we at the Wetaskiwin Museum like to encourage. For this reason, we offer something a bit different from the tours that we offer other grades. Through this activity, students will engage in teamwork, research, and critical thinking.

Our staff has created a scavenger hunt booklet that encompasses all of our 2nd floor exhibits. Students will thoroughly examine:

  • Origins
  • Wetaskiwin Early Businesses
  • Churches
  • The General Store
  • Creameries
  • The Century Home
  • Chinese and Swedish Immigration
  • Hutterites
  • The War Years
